Dorothy Stone has been teaching voice for over 30 years, and has brought her holistic approach to the voice to students from beginner through working professional.
She was a student of the late Bel Canto Master Cornelius L. Reid for over 25 years, and has successfully applied the principles she learned working closely with him to artists of diverse genres.
Her work covers basic technique, implementing exercises which promote foundational freedom from vocal constriction, registrational development, coordination and application to repertoire.
Lessons are given on the Upper West Side in Manhattan and are either half hour or hour in duration.
